ROBERT PETERS NOLLYWOOD FILMMAKER Robert Oyime Petersg
Robert O. Peters is a talented filmmaker known for his dynamic storytelling and visual artistry. Born in Sabon Gari, Kaduna, Nigeria, and raised in Jos, Plateau State, he graduated from the University of Jos with a degree in Geology. In pursuit of his passion for filmmaking, he moved to Lagos, Nigeria, in 1999, where he began to establish his creative career.
In 2005, Robert relocated to the United States to further his education, earning a certificate in Visual Storytelling hosted by New York University. His journey in the film industry took off as he gained invaluable experience through Film Career Connection in Atlanta and specialized training with REDucation, where he honed his skills with cutting-edge Red camera technology. As the owner of Whitestone Pictures and Whitestone Filworks, a film production studio and film gear rental house based in Snellville, Georgia, Robert has successfully blended his creative vision with entrepreneurial spirit. He has worked on a multitude of film projects, collaborating with both Hollywood and Nollywood actors such as Vivica A. Fox, Eric Roberts, Lynn Whitfield, Richard Mofe-Damijo, AY, Ramsey Noah, John Amos, Lisa Raye Mqcoy, Tom Sizemore and Michael Madsen among others.
